Vi ricordate The Impossible Project? Ne avevamo parlato qualche tempo fa: dopo la trasformazione dell’azienda Polaroid in produttrice di elettronica di consumo e apparecchi per il digitale, e il conseguente stop alla produzione delle magiche carte fotografiche istantanee nel giugno del 2008, alcuni impiegati reduci dalla vecchia azienda si sono opposti all’avanzata inarrestabile del digitale.

Ecco che Florian Kaps, ex manager di Lomography, ha riunito alcuni ingegneri ed esperti della vecchia Polaroid per studiare un nuovo progetto di pellicola istantanea da adattare alle vecchie fotocamere.
L'impresa offre delle difficoltà non indifferenti, tra cui l'estrema difficoltà nel reperire alcuni prodotti inesistenti nel mercato odierno, tuttavia, dopo mesi di lavoro, grazie all'impegno e al supporto ricevuto, il team sembra essere riuscito a produrre il primo completo e stabile sistema per la fotografia istantanea (dopo l’era Polaroid) e a scattare le prime immagini già visibili sul loro sito web.
