Sono ormai sei anni di fila che i produttori della Twisted Pictures sfornano, Halloween dopo Halloween, un nuovo episodio della saga di Saw… una delle poche storie - che non hanno assolutamente una dimensione sovrannaturale - in cui il serial killer protagonista riesce a terrorizzare le sue vittime perfino dall’oltretomba! I produttori hanno sempre scherzato sul fatto che la saga sarebbe continuata per sempre… in realtà oggi possiamo dirvi quanti altri episodi delle avventure dell’enigmista vedremo.
In un’intervista a ShockTillYouDrop, il produttore Mark Burg della Twisted Pictures ha dichiarato: “Di certo faremo Saw VII. Lo gireremo a gennaio e sarà in 3D. La storia che abbiamo avviato in Saw V, continua nel sesto e finisce in Saw VIII. Non posso dirvi che la franchise continuerà dopo quell’episodio”.
E dunque saranno almeno otto gli episodi della serie, il ché significa che l’enigmista è prenotato sul grande schermo fino al 2011… riuscirà una volta e per tutte a riposare letteralmente in pace??
