- The Waking Dead ha un nuovo showrunner
Glen Mazzara è il nuovo showrunner di The Walking Dead. Sarà lui, dunque, a prendere in mano le redini della serie, appena mollate da Frank Darabont.
Mazzarra, già sceneggiatore di alcuni episodi precedenti, è stato ingaggiato come braccio destro di Darabont all’inizio della seconda stagione. “Lo abbiamo assunto come nostro numero due nella stanza – aveva detto il regista de Il miglio verde lo scorso mese – Lo consideriamo il nostro capo scrittore ed è una risorsa fantastica”.
Precedentemente Mazzara ha anche scritto il primo episodio di Wildfire ed è stato autore e produttore delle serie The Shield, Crash, Hawthorne e Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior. Vedremo dunque come se la caverà con i morti viventi di Robert Kirkman, orfani di un grande autore come Darabont.
